چکیده

Biostimulants are organic compounds which in small amounts can have a positive effect on plant growth. Plant extracts source of biostimulants contain such as secondary metabolites and other that enhance Portulaca is wild contains metabolites, amino acids, macro micro nutrients the potential biostimulants. Kale vegetable from Brassicaceae family known super food because its health benefits. Efforts to improve quality production need be increased line with public demand. This study aims analyze giving several concentrations extract compatibility The method used this was an experimental completely randomized design (CRD) 5 treatments replications. Some treatment consisting of: A (0%); B (1.5%); C (3%); D (4.5%); E (6%). application had significantly different chlorophyll total plants highest content 0.822 1.462, but did not growth parameters. Based proximate analysis, increasing concentration increase percentage protein content, namely at 6% by 23.75%.

Metabolic profiling and biological capacity of Pieris brassicae fed with kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala).

Phenolic and organic acid profiles of aqueous extracts from Pieris brassicae material and the host kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) leaves were determined by HPLC/UV-DAD/MS(n)-ESI and HPLC-UV, respectively. The identified phenolics included acylated and nonacylated flavonoid glycosides, hydroxycinnamic acyl gentiobiosides, and sulphate phenolics. Kale exhibited the highest content (11g...

Volatile constituents throughout Brassica oleracea L. Var. acephala germination.

In this work, the volatile composition of kale ( Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) and its variation during germination were monitored during the first 9 days of seedling development by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) combined with gas chromatography/ion trap-mass spectrometry (GC/IT-MS). Differences were found among the materials in the distinct analyzed periods. A total of 6...

Uptake of thallium from artificially contaminated soils by kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala)

A pot experiment focused on the study of factors influencing thallium transfer from contaminated soils into kale (green cabbage, Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala, variety Winterbor F1) was evaluated. Three different types of topsoils with naturally low content of thallium (heavy, medium and medium-light soil) were used for pot experiments. The soils were contaminated with thallium sulfate to ...

Composition and antioxidant activity of kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) raw and cooked.

BACKGROUND Cabbage vegetables, like Brassica group, are perceived as very valuable food products. They have a very good nutritive value, high antioxidant activity and pro-healthy potential. Especially, kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) is characterized by good nutritional and pro-healthy properties, but this vegetable is not popular in Poland. The aim of this work was to assess the chem...

Chromosome Doubling of Microspore-Derived Plants from Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica L.)

Chromosome doubling of microspore-derived plants is an important factor in the practical application of microspore culture technology because breeding programs require a large number of genetically stable, homozygous doubled haploid plants with a high level of fertility. In the present paper, 29 populations of microspore-derived plantlets from cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) and brocc...
